What is our why?
In 2022 I had an epiphany- at the time I was the 25 year old co-owner of a small junk removal company in my home town of Staten Island, New York. The work itself was satisfying, and it paid the bills but I knew from its inception that it would eventually run its course. I was in a horrible relationship and absolutely hated my part time side job at a local hospital. I knew it was time for change.
In the following year, I left the hospital, ended my relationship and in 2024 eventually discontinued operation of my junk removal company. I was desperate for a purpose in life.
I was constantly searching for ways to express myself- By nature I have always been creative and spent a lot of time over the past decade in recording studios, eventually building my own. But there came a time where song writing didn't feel as comfortable as it always did, so I began to look for a new outlet. I spent a few months learning and dabbling in clothing design, and accidentally came up with an idea- in January 2024, Rollin' Skulls Fighters Club (aka Rollin' Skulls New York) was born.
It was raw, and it was real. It came effortlessly because the concepts and ideas hit so close to home and fit right into my daily life. Once I realized what I had created I knew I had no choice but to run with it.
In March of 2025 I enlisted into the U.S. Army. I lived in a place that is 13 miles from north to south, and it was time to take my talents, my ideas, and my capabilities elsewhere.
What is your why?
When you wake up in the morning and look yourself in the mirror, do you ever ask yourself why? What drives you to get up each and every day and keep going?
Becoming The Standard
At the end of Army basic training, I stood at a campfire surrounded by 219 other civilians turned soldiers. Above my head was a giant wooden sign that read the phrase "be all you can be". Words that have been plastered in my brain ever since.
Rollin' Skulls is a testament to that motto. Each and every day I strive to wake up and be better than I was the day prior. I wanted to create something that meant as much as wearing a U.S. Army patch. Rollin' Skulls New York represents pride, passion, and eternal hunger. To live dangerously, and to be the fear of the object standing in your way.
To be the standard, to live in the highest echelon, and to look good doing it. Here at Rollin' Skulls, we wear our pride and our dignity for the whole world to see.
